THE NORTH

Starting on the shores of the Arctic Ocean in Tuktoyaktuk, NWT, Canada I set off on the temporary ice road constructed each winter over The Mackenzie each winter. The episode starts with over 400 km on solid ice through THe Northwest Territories and then over The Dempster Highway into The Yukon, The Alaska Highway and The Steward Cassiar into British Columbia. After a 2 month treeplanting season I continued through the remote roads of BC and toward Bella Coola.
The 2017 update is identical to the original but now ad-free. The original 2 part episodes are still available part1 part2 (they are missing a short section on Lake Atitlan)

ALASKA

Starting in Dawson City, Yukon I head up on the top of the world highway to the last frontier - Alaska. There are few roads and stops are far and few in between, the rain may or may not let up but when you could see the mountains it is always worth it. I hitch a ride one way on The Dalton Highway and ride back, Denali National Park through Palmer and toward Hanes.

THE GREAT DIVIDE IN WINTER

Episode 3 following a ride from the frozen Arctic Ocean to Argentina. It was a race with winter going south along the iconic Great Divide Mountain Bike Route which eventually caught up to me in Colorado. Starting in Canmore, Canada the mountain bike route covers some of the most remote and rugged scenery along the spine of the Rocky Mountains.
